A periodic review of Michigan writing

Until December 31, 2008, we are accepting short fiction and poetry submissions for Driftwood No. 10, to be published in the Spring of 2009. 

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

We have few formal guidelines. Simply send us your best work of unpublished poetry or prose.  Do not submit fiction longer than 4,000 words, or more than four poems. No genre fiction, please.  Those included in any issue of Driftwood will receive two copies of the issue.  We encourage simultaneous submissions, so also submit to other publications.  We do not want to be a bottleneck.  Let us know immediately if one of your simultaneous submissions is accepted elsewhere.

We publish only the work of Michigan residents.

We accept only Email submissions.  Submissions must be in the form of a MS Word attachment.  If submitting more than one poem, each poem must have its own file attachment.  Please use normal formatting (no fancy, artsy formatting, please) in 12 pt Times Roman face.

Any submissions sent to us by regular mail will be discarded unopened.
