Keith Hamilton, one of Ludington's most beloved and respected teachers of English and American Literature and Creative Writing gives a series of Tuesday night workshops open to all.

No registration necessary. Just drop in.

The Hamilton Lit Workshop

The 1st Tuesday of every month  -  7 to 9 pm

Judith Minty Writers Room - Ludington Arts Center

$5 suggested donation per session

This workshop will be an eclectic exploration of modern American literature as only Keith can present it. We'll study The Beats (particularly Snyder and Ginsburg), the Whitman legacy, Pound, Eliot, Langston Hughes, Woody Guthrie, post-Modernist fiction, and lots more, all presented in Keith's inimitable, exciting, upbeat style. Lots of workshopper involvement.

 

The Hamilton Writing Workshop

The 3rd Tuesday of every month  -  7 to 9 pm

Judith Minty Writers Room - Ludington Arts Center

$5 suggested donation per session

This workshop will focus on generating new writing, exploring various forms of "found" poetry, writing from art works, traditional poetic forms, fables, short short essays, short short fiction, and much more, all presented with Keith's well-known enthusiasm and love for words.
